We aim to help every young Victorian connect their passions to real-world opportunities beyond school.

Every young person deserves a great start.

We understand that young people need access to industry experience, mentoring, and career development while still at school. Yet, some feel disconnected from their education or community and risk missing out. LLENs help change this by connecting schools, businesses, and local networks to support every young person in discovering their interests, building confidence, and gaining the skills they need to thrive in work and life.

There are many ways you can help young people prepare for their future.

  • Offer a Structured Workplace Learning (SWL) placement.
  • Offer a School Based Apprenticeship or Traineeship (SBAT).
  • Employ a young person.
  • Host a workplace tour.
  • Participate in a mock interview.
  • Mentor a student.
  • Share your story at a local school.
  • Contribute to a school-industry project.
